Dr. Prasannanshu is an associate professor of English at National Law University, Delhi, and a visiting faculty of the Paris West University, Nanterre La Defense, France. His research interests include law and language; linguistics; neurolinguistics; endangered languages and more. His current academic focus is on the development of an educational philosophy and pedagogy of language, literature and communication skills for the students of law. He has been actively writing, lecturing and publishing in this area. He has published several papers in international and national journals.

Dr. Kalpana Kannabiran has worked extensively in the area of gender studies, indigenous/adivasi rights, minority rights, development studies, disability studies, jurisprudence (colonial, constitutional and criminal), human rights and more.  She is an advocate & sociologist based in Hyderabad and has combined research, teaching in three disciplines (law, sociology and gender studies), activism, pro bono socio-legal counseling, rights advocacy and strategic litigation in her work.

Dr. Nandini Sahu is an Indian poet and creative writer. She is the Director, School of Foreign Languages and Professor of English at Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. Her areas of research interest cover Indian Literature, New Literatures, Folklore and Culture Studies, American Literature, Children’s Literature and Critical Theory. She is the Chief Editor/Founder Editor of Interdisciplinary Journal of Literature and Language(IJLL), and Panorama Literaria, both bi-annual peer-reviewed journals in English. She is also professor of English at the Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi, India. She has written several books including poetry in English. She has won three gold medals in English literature and also the award of All India Poetry Contest in 1993 at Saint Xavier College, Ranchi and Shiksha Ratna Purashkar

Dr. Rukmini Bhaya Nair is Professor of Linguistics and English at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge and an honoris causa doctoral degree from the University of Antwerp, Belgium. She has taught at universities ranging from Singapore to Stanford and delivered plenary addresses worldwide from Aarhus to Xinjiang. Her research interests are in the fields of cognitive linguistics, pragmatics, narrative, English studies, philosophy of language, techno-cultures, literary and postcolonial theory, gender and creative writing. She won the First Prize for her poem Kali in the “All India Poetry Competition” in 1990 organised by The Poetry Society in collaboration with British Council.

Dr. Dripta Piplai is an Assistant Professor, Humanities and Social Science Department, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. She has a PhD. from the University of Delhi, on language conflict and syntactic variation among the Rajbanshi children of North Bengal. Her research interest lies in the areas of language conflict, multilingual/bilingual pedagogy, language planning for early literacy, use of lingua franca in rural classrooms, documentation of traditional songs in endangered linguistic communities, etc.

Dr. S. Imtiaz Hasnain, a graduate of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, is a Professor of Sociolinguistics, Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He was a Fellow at both the East-West Center, Hawaii, U.S.A. and the Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore, India, and a Visiting Scholar at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla, and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He is currently working on a Multi-institutional and Multidisciplinary Project titled Linguistic Activation and Bidirectional Reading (Urdu): An Eyetracker and Electroencephalogram Investigation.

In her teaching stint, she has received many awards & latest is being “Awarded Full Scholarship by UNESCO and University of Mahidol, Thailand to attend 5thInternational Conference on Language and Education: Sustainable Development through Multilingual Education, from 19th Oct, 2016 to 21st Oct 2016, at Bangkok, Thailand”.

Dr. Aditi Ghosh is an Associate Professor and the Head of Department at the Department of Linguistics, Calcutta University. Her area of specialization is in Contrastive Linguistics, Translation Studies, Sociolinguistics, and Semantics. She has been part of various research projects including the Principal investigator of the UGC sponsored major research project under UPE scheme on ‘Language Use and Attitude: A Sociolinguistic Survey of ‘non-Bengalis’ in Kolkata’ and is currently working as the Principal investigator of the UGC sponsored major research project under UPE scheme on ‘Intercultural Communication in Multilingual Urban Spaces’ ’ (UPE-II) [Co-PI Prof Mina Dan] [In collaboration with Prof. Maya David, University of Malaya and Prof Alexander Coupe, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore].
